Directrix Metropolis is a collection of large format images taken with a view camera. The images are all double and triple exposures done in
camera and are of the city of Harrisonburg, va and Staunton, va. The term
Directrix is used in geometry to define a fixed line used in the description of
a curve or surface on a parabola. The book folds out so that all edges of the
images ling up and create a continuous distorted cityscape.
